Your role:
As Despatch Manager, you are responsible for the smooth, accurate and efficient despatch of all goods from the Clonakilty site. You are also responsible for supervising the cold room and despatch staff and ensuring all processes are followed correctly.

3. Stock control & rotation
4. Ordering & transfers
5. Hygiene & housekeeping
6. Accounts & discrepancies
7. Transport & logistics
8. Delegation

In summary:
This is a new position, and it will take time to realise the most effective and efficient ways of carrying out this role. You are responsible for people, product and process in the Dispatch area. You are expected to be organised, proactive and to take ownership of the area. You should also identify what areas you feel you require training and work with management to ensure that this is provided.
