Purpose of the Role:
The Health & Safety Coordinator will lead and coordinate all aspects of health, safety and environmental compliance across the manufacturing site.  The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and all site personnel to ensure legal compliance, promote continuous improvement and foster a proactive safety culture. The role will also take responsibility for the management of site environmental systems, including effluent treatment and odour management.

‍Essential:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
Experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable:
Experience within the dairy or food manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety Standards.
Experience managing environmental systems, particularly industrial effluent treatment.
Internal Auditor qualification.
