Macroom Food Festival - 26th, 27th & 28 September 2014

Macroom is renowned as one of Ireland’s most picturesque ‘market towns’, with a long food related history. In 2012 a dynamic group of Macroom business people and volunteers joined forces to promote the town’s rich heritage and celebrate Ireland’s growing international reputation for fine artisan foods with the first ever Macroom Food Festival. Over three sunny days in late September, the town of Macroom came to life with wonderful food, music and wine.

The 2014 festival aims to be even bigger and better than the inaugural event. As last year, Macroom Food Festival 2014 will be a fun few days for families, as well as a key culinary weekend in the diaries of serious foodies. From busking to a schools cook-off, a massive outdoor food market and various demos, this not to be missed event will showcase the finest artisan foods and producers from Macroom, Cork and even further afield.

Macroom Food Festival 2014 will run from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September 2014.
