This year again Thomas and Carol Henry from Creagh, Baltimore are sponsoring the class for four and five-year-old horses likely to make eventers.
The Young Horse Championship is sponsored by Hoel Harrington TD while the Foal Championship in sponsored by Ardtech Industries, Drimoleague.
Blackwater Motors this year sponsor the Irish Mare & Foal class with Durapak Agri sponsoring the Young Fresian Cow class. The Hayes family formerly of Kilnahera, Drimoleague are sponsoring the irish Draught Mare class and Sean Casey of Bantry Tyre Centre sponsors the 1 & 2-year-old gelding/filly class.
AIB and Bank of Ireland once again sponsor the two major Cork County Championship Finals, Yearling, Gelding or Filly and Beef Bull.
Carbery Mil Products sponsor the Carbery Group Dairy class and this year there will be a new cup sponsored by the McCarthy family, Lissalorig, Skibbereen in memory of the late Charles McCarthy.
FBD Insurance Skibbereen, Drinagh Co-op and Skibbereen Credit Union Sponsor various Fresian classes.
The show will also showcase a huge range of local produce and there will be horticulture, craft and photography sections with Fusion Home Interiors sponsoring the the craft classes and Barry’s Tea most of the cookery classes
The will also be a wide range of children’s classes including ponies, junior cattle, horticulture, crafts and cookery.
Other popular events on the day will include a display from the West Carbery Hunt, the Pet Dog Show, trade displays, children’s amusements, on site restaurant and more.
